Dragonite Raid Guide

Dragonite is a dual Dragon- and Flying-type Pokémon available both in the wild and in Tier 4 Raids. Affectionately known as D-Nite, Dragonite is duoable for high-level Trainers with teams consisting of the top Ice-type counters such as Mamoswine, Glaceon, & Weavile. Never use Dragon-types against Outrage as it will ‘one-shot’ you. Keep in mind, duoing or even trioing D-Nite will eat through your revives in a hurry. It is, therefore, our recommendation that you Raid in large groups (5-10) to conserve these suddenly valuable assets.

Final Thoughts

While Dragonite is no longer the number one Dragon-type available, it is still an extremely viable Pokémon. Top tier Dragon-types are always a good thing to have in excess. So have fun in your battles against the Dragon Pokémon. Keep up to date with the availability of D-Nite in Raids by checking out the Current Raid Boss List on our Homepage.
